Donations will go toward providing complimentary masks for essential frontline workers and communities that are the most vulnerable during these uncertain times. This includes, but is not limited to, healthcare workers, mental health care workers, urban communities, migrant communities, grocery workers, and senior care.
Additionally, as a one woman shop I am spending on average, 15 hours a day sewing masks and keeping price points affordable by donating my time and materials in order to keep these essential items accessible to those experiencing financial strain. Donations help with material cost as these masks have 4-6 layers of fabric and nose forms on top of additional materials and supplies needed such as thread, needles, elastic, etcetera. Fabric stores are overloaded with orders and taking up to 30 days to ship which creates the need to pay for expedited services on supplies in order to provide faster service to the community. These donations help immensely to cushion all of these factors and enable me to keep the mask operation going strong.
Thank you for donating or considering giving a donation! They are not expected nor required but extremely appreciated!
